Veritatis Splendor
Class - Oct 16th and Oct 23st

Sessions are offered at 10am and 7pm, Speaker at 7pm Only
Join us for an in-depth study of Veritatis Splendor, Pope St. John Paul II’s landmark encyclical on moral theology. Written in 1993, this teaching remains profoundly relevant today as it addresses truth, freedom, conscience, and the moral challenges facing our world.
Two classes delving in the History and Workings of this document followed by a guest speaker on the topic. Participants are encouraged to sign up for both sessions and speaker but not required to be at both. -

The Soul's Journey into God
Fridays: Sept 26th and Oct 3rd (2 Session)
In Person Only - 10am to Noon
Facilitator - Donna Kendall
Saint Bonaventure, a 13th century Franciscan Friar, priest, cardinal-bishop and Doctor of the Church, spent much of his life teaching and writing deeply philosophical and theological works to help us understand the nature of our loving and generous God. In his work "A Soul's Journey into God," Bonaventure explores all the avenues available to us to grow more closely into a relationship with God. Please consider joining us for a two part class that examines the pathway to God through prayer and contemplation. Part one will be offered on Friday, September 26 from 10 am until noon and Part two will be offered on Friday, October 3 from 10 am until noon in the ministry level. The class is facilitated by Donna Kendall, OFS, director of Formation for Our Lady of the Rosary Secular Franciscan Order which meets at Saint Bede on the third Sunday of each month in the Walsh room.

About our Program
The Adult Faith Formation Process of Saint Bede Catholic Church recognizes the importance of the catechesis of adults, strives to promote and nourish a mature adult faith that will foster true discipleship. Parishioners are invited to encounter Jesus and grow in the fullness of their Catholic faith through a comprehensive catechetical and spiritual formation process. We also strive to foster a growing Adult Ministry program to encourage retreat opportunities and fellowship events. Check here often for additional program offerings!
