Online Giving

We are a stewardship parish. We ask our parishioners once per year to Pray, Commit, and Respond so that we can plan for our parish. We do not typically "pass the basket" however we ask our folks to use the collection boxes in the baptistery for those who use checks or cash. We try to limit our "asks" to only those collections that are part of our Diocesan efforts or those that involve one of our parish ministries.

There are over 60 ministries here at Saint Bede that serve the spiritual and material needs of the parish and community  As part of our stewardship, we invite every parishioner to get involved in a ministry, to experience the love and joy of Christ through service to others.

Be hospitable to one another without complaining. As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.’   1 Peter 4:9-10

Changing and growing into the likeness of Christ is not just greater knowledge of our faith, but doing what God’s Word says. Here are a few ways we carry out our stewardship of God’s gifts:

• Our Williamsburg House of Mercy (formerly Saint Bede Outreach) serves over 2,300 needy clients each year, in addition, we are serving over 300 families monthly with food supply. Saint Bede Parish provides the infrastructure for the House of Mercy- the physical plant, utilities, and support services as well as direct financial and volunteer support.
• Over 1500 youth and adults participate in Faith Formation activities, small groups, and ministries that support the liturgies and activities of the parish
• Over 3,400 families and 8,800 individuals in the parish
• 54,000 hours of volunteer service provided annually
