Director of Liturgy & Musicarenningerbedeva.orgAaron Renninger, MSM is a native of Indiana and holds a Master of Sacred Music Degree from the University of Notre Dame du Lac. He graduated cum laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Organ Performance. He has completed several courses in ecclesial administration and management from The Catholic University of America. He has completed advanced programs in choral conducting, chironomy, chant notation, and handbells and traveled throughout Northern Germany playing and researching historic pipe organs adding to his extensive knowledge of organ building. Professionally, Aaron has served as organist, choirmaster, and director of liturgy and music for several churches in the Midwest. As Director of Liturgy and Music at Saint Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg since January 2011, Aaron directs the parish choir, schola cantorum, a choral scholars program, and a very large youth choir. He serves as the principal organist and is responsible for all liturgical planning and scheduling for the parish. Aaron has served on the Liturgical Commission for the Diocese of Richmond and chaired the Diocesan Music Committee. He holds membership in the American Guild of Organists and periodically performs in local chapter events.
